2023 Caribbean Series: TV Coverage, Channel, and Score Updates for Baseball
The World Baseball Classic will return this spring for the first time in six years, and while there’s plenty of excitement, fans won’t need to see a baseball game until next month.
The Caribbean Series is scheduled to take place in Venezuela a few days before pitchers and catchers attend MLB spring training. The 65th edition of the popular tournament features eight teams representing Latin American winter leagues, two more than last year’s event in the Dominican Republic.
Colombia will be looking to defend its crown after defeating the host nation Dominican Republic in the final, but this year’s hosts are sure to have raucous crowds in Caracas and La Guaira.
In addition to three standby winter league teams from Mexico, Panama, and Puerto Rico, this year’s event will see the return of Cuba to the tournament and a team from Curacao.

Teams for the 2023 Caribbean Series
The eight champions of the Latin American Winter League will face each other in a round-robin fashion, and the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals.

Mexico: Caneros de los Mochis
Panama: Federales de Chiriqui
Puerto Rico: Indios de Mayaguez
Venezuela: Leones del Caracas
Robinson Cano (Dominican Republic), Wilson Ramos (Venezuela), Jonathan Schoop (Curaçao), and Andrelton Simmons (Curaçao) are some of the prominent players who participated in this game this year.
