Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul to face off in all-American semi at Mexican Open

This will be the second semi-final meeting of the Americans in the 30-year history of the all-American semi at Mexican Open event. Fritz faced John Isner in 2020 when he won.
The winner of the Fritz-Paul tournament will become the third American to reach the Mexican final. In addition to Fritz, Sam Querrey also won the tournament in 2017.
Fritz sought his second title with a win at Delray Beach in his second semi-final of the season.
On the other side of the draw, Alex De Minaur beat Taro Daniel 6-2, 6-2 to reach the semifinals.
Eighth-seeded Australia will play the winner of the match between Matteo Berrettini and Hulger Rune.
