Kane Williamson Sets New Record as New Zealand's Leading Test Run-Scorer

On the morning of the fourth day of the second Test against Kane Williamson Sets New Record England in Wellington, Kane Williamson Sets New Record New Zealand became the highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
The 32-year-old joined James Anderson on the middle ticket mark to overtake Ross Taylor's 7,683 in the first half of the day.
Williamson went on to make a brilliant century as New Zealand scored 483 to bowl out England for 258.
Williamson made his 92nd Test debut in 2010.
He led New Zealand to defeat India in the final in the inaugural Test World Cup in 2021.
In total, he captained 40 Tests in 2016.
Williamson stood down in December last year but remains the captain of the one day and T20 side.
