Brooklyn Nets prepare to host the streaking Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks hope to extend the NBA's longest winning streak to 15 games when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks continued to win despite Antetokounmpo not playing.
Milwaukee Bucks hope Antetokounmpo can recover from a minor knee injury in order to play against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. If he can't, they'll still have a chance to extend the NBA's longest winning streak to 15 games.
Milwaukee sports a record of 7-5 when Antetokounmpo chooses to sit.
Antetokounmpo scored 12 points in the first quarter of his last two games. Chicago's offense ended after 15 minutes when Dallas' wrist break and knee sprain him six minutes before halftime. Meanwhile, Miami gained 29 points in nine minutes with Antetokounmpo as his quarterback.
The Bucks tied the 1972-73 team for the fourth longest streak in team history. They were up one point in a playoff game on Sunday against Phoenix when Antetokounmpo joined the team. The club defeated the Suns 104-101. Current stars Nikola Mitogloukovi and Jodie Meeks were unavailable due to injuries, so Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez excelled in their absence.
Lopez scored 22 points, including a layup by Khris Middleton with 24.8 seconds left. Holiday scored 33 points and got a key steal on Phoenix's Devin Booker with 11 seconds left.
Middleton believes the point of their win streak is to celebrate every single victory.
During the streak, Antetokounmpo scored 30 or more points at least once every month. The last time he scored 50 points was against the New Orleans Saints on January 29, and he scored 54 against the Los Angeles Clippers on February 4.
The last four games of the star’s performance saw him average 28.0 points on the break.
The Bucks had the longest winning streak in the NBA during a single season. It lasted 12 games, which is longer than any other NBA team's streak. One of Brooklyn's 12 wins came on December 23, when they beat Milwaukee 118-100 at home. However, they only shot to the tune of 49.5 percent and made only 9 of 37 3-pointers.
The Nets are looking for a new roster while they're in the middle of a playoff race; they hope this prevents them from falling further behind.
Brooklyn has won nine to fourteen games in a row since breaking their winning streak. During this time, superstars Kevin Durant and D'Angelo Russell wanted to trade to Los Angeles. The Nets went 3-7 after winning 17 points against the Los Angeles Lakers on January 30. The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks beat Milwaukee by 129-127 points on Sunday; this ended the Knicks' three-game homestand against the Hawks.
Friday night's loss to Chicago marked the Nets' 131st game this season. However, they were up 131-87 when Young scored over the weekend's 18 point deficit. Despite this, the team still lost on Sunday after giving up just 29 points in the first half.
Mikal Bridges scored a career high 24 points against the Miami Heat on February 15, 2015. However, his best game since joining the Nets in the KD trade was the 27 point performance he scored against Atlanta on January 12, 2016. Cameron Johnson's best game with the Nets was the 45 point performance he scored against Miami on January 29, 2016.
Brooklyn basketball coach Waak Vaughan said his team should avoid self-pity by believing they can achieve their goal.
Milwaukee has won 26 of their 26 regular season games against other teams.
