Bogaerts’ Love for Chicharito and Football.

Javier Hernandez is one of the most popular soccer players in the United States, and his fans include athletes from other sports, including Xander Bogaerts, who has declared himself one of his biggest supporters.

During an interview where Bogaerts was answering questions about the San Diego atmosphere, the “X-Man” was asked to send a message to Mexican fans as the Padres take on the San Francisco Giants. A regular season game at the Alfredo Harp Hell Stadium in Mexico City.

“Viva Chicharito! I’m a big soccer fan. I love soccer. I watched the World Cup last year so I know a lot about soccer. Soccer is one of the best sports,” Bogaerts said.

Xander Bogaerts Supports Curacao in Caribbean Series

Bogie is not only a football fan, but also keeps an eye on what Curaçao is doing, born in Aruba, another Dutch territory in the Caribbean.

“I know Mexico lost the Caribbean Series to Curaçao. I think they lost 2-1. I also know Curaçao surprised a lot of teams in the tournament,” Bogaerts added.

They are in their first tournament as a guest, which is another thing that excites me about the World Baseball Classic, because some of these images will be seen in the Classic.

Tatis Aims for Redemption

The laughs and smiles are starting to return, as fans applaud Fernando Tatis Jr., at least in San Diego.

Tatis receives warm welcome at Padres’ most anticipated Fan Fest despite PED suspension.

The crowd gave Tatis a standing ovation when they introduced him at the panel featuring Manny Machado, Juan Soto, and Bogaerts.

“I love San Diego … I won’t be leaving here for a long time,” Tatis told the crowd to thunderous applause.

Tatis’ redemption tour begins this season, after missing the entire 2022 season due to a wrist injury and suspension. He was returning from surgery on his left wrist when MLB suspended him on August 12.
