Besiktas football fans in Turkey rallied support for the earthquake kids by tossing stuffed toys onto the field.
Besiktas Istanbul football fans launched thousands of stuffed toys onto the field as a show of support for the region affected by the February 6 earthquake.
On February 6, 16:17 local time, an earthquake hit the Super League. After 4 minutes and 17 seconds without a score, fans were allowed to throw prizes onto the pitch. This event was stopped after only 4 minutes and 17 seconds.
Besiktas stated that people from the earthquake area donated to children with gifts like kerchiefs, berets and soft toys.
Turkey’s surrounding Syria counted over 50,000 fatalities due to the earthquake.
