Australia has developed a winning culture following their victory in the Cup of Nations.

After a wet evening in Newcastle, Jamaica lost 3-0 to Australia. This made the latter's winning streak seven games, with three victories out of three in a tournament that also included Spain and the Czech Republic.
For the Women's World Cup co-host, Tony Gustavsson was very impressed with every moment of every game. However, he wasn't impressed with every coach of each world cup game. After winning a Cup Of Nations victory on Wednesday, he was pleased that the host country had developed a winning habit.
Jamaica lost 3-0 on a rainy evening in Newcastle. This meant Australia's streak of seven wins continued; the two teams had already won three games out of three in a tournament that also included the Czech Republic and Spain.
Gustavsson intended the tournament to match the Matildas' participation in the World Cup's Australia-Ireland-Nigeria group.
Highlights Importance of Winning
Gustavsson noted that they realized what it feels like to win after understanding their victory.
There wasn’t much to admire about this game. There wasn’t much to admire about Spain winning in the second half, or Czech Republic winning the first half. Finding a way to win tournaments is about persevering through the process. Believing in your efforts is important when playing tournaments. Additionally, people can realize that scoring goals is different than other sports.
Alex Chidiac’s long-range efforts and Caitlin Foord’s long-range strikes from a distance provided Gustavsson’s side with a comfortable victory over the Jamaicans. At Newcastle International Sports Centre, 9,000 people were in attendance as they watched the game.
Sweden only conceded one goal in their last five matches, with the exception of a disappointing 3-2 loss to Spain. But Gustavsson was still very pleased with his team's clean sheet in Australia's third game in a week.
When one wins a trophy, they feel the same satisfaction that winning an award provides. Synaesthestist Gustavsson said this feeling doesn’t come around often.
I’m looking forward to thanking my fellow competitors and savouring the joy of victory. It’s an addictive sensation that I can’t wait to experience again and again.
In early April, New Zealand hosts the World Cup alongside Australia; both countries travel to London to compete against European champion England.
